Biographical entry Currie, Mark John (1795 - 1874)

M. J. Currie entered the Royal Navy in 1808. He arrived as a settler in Western Australia on board the Parmelia in June 1829. He became Commissioner of the Board of Audit and Control. In August 1832 he left Western Australia in the Sulphur.
